The truck was totaled mostly do to the frame being bent. I went through there insurance Farmers to avoid my $1,000 deductible with my insurance. part of the problem is most insurance is capped at $ 50,000 per car witch was the case with my truck. I max there insurance. What I will look into is gap insurance to cover the cost over 50,000 if I buy 2013 or 2014 truck.
It doesn't matter what there insurance covers, if they owe you more than $50,000 to you, then the owner of the car has to cough it up. Just tell them you would like to keep your lawyer out of it and they should owe you for any parts that were ruined in the wreck, aftermarket or not.

I bought another 2012 Wednesday Last week that is almost an exact match to the one I lost. 2012 Ram 2500, 4X4, Laramie trim package, 40-2040 front seat, 6'-4" bed my campers shell even matches the color. the cool thing is the new truck has remote start. I received a check from Farmer thsi week end it will cover the down payment for the new truck. I went to the dealer that I bought my Ram 3500 from and they are giving me $3,028 for the extended warranty that was left on the truck. so in the end I got back $52,100.00 and that works out to about $950 a month to drive the truck for 18 months.
