I did not change the plugs myself and when I picked up the truck I forgot to ask him to let me check the gap on the old plugs. Tomorrow I will be working right beside an O'Reilly's and I will check. I am curious also.

I will say that the first 60,000 miles were 95% highway miles, so I'm thinking that might have helped a little.

I'm curious as to why, with most vehicles these days going 100K miles before the first plug change, do our Rams need a change at 30K?

Because Ram likes to use copper plugs. Everyone else uses Platinum. It's a Chrysler thing -- has been for years.

Also because chrysler wants to sell ya twice as many plugs three times more often than the other guys
