BB package seems overkill given how good you can make the stock setup perform with just a pad and line upgrade. Even pads+rotors I paid maybe $475 from autopartswarehouse simply because shipping was free over a certain amount. When you ship rotors that size, it matters! Powerstop vented/slotted with EBC Green Stuff pads.

Yes they do. I used Crown or Goodbridge on 3 of my other cars, esp my Nissan track car. They're tough - Crown are lines laminated with Kevlar, then SS, then a sealed coating that holds up well. The end fittings are higher quality and don't tend to corrode over time, either.

They improve pedal feel, they're tough and don't degrade as fast over time. Downside is you need to ensure a good fit which isn't always the case, depends on the vendor.

I use the stock calipers as they put out enough pressure to stop the QC really well. I haven't done the braided brake lines, but I plan on it when I do new rims this spring. A full 4-disk brake setup cost me ~$650 for 4 rotors and pads, had a mechanic friend do the install. The EBC pads a super quiet and little to no break dust.
CdnoilRAM,

I'm also from Alberta. Just wondering where you purchased your EBC set up from? Did you go through a local dealer or online? Is there manufacture's warranty on your setup?

guessing this setup from Autoanything is the same as yours:

IDK how they work with CAN shipping, but Autopartswarehouse.com offered free shipping on my order, which cut the cost way down with 4 rotors and pads. Worth checking into.

They had a 3-year warranty against cracking on several rotors, but that only applied if you used their pads, and I wanted EBC. Also they were add-on cost for my ~$75 USD front rotors, so I opted out of that. Rear, I have never seen an issue so I wouldn't even bother.

Wow. Other than the dimples and zinc coating, those EBC rotors are almost double the cost of my slotted-only Powerslots, which I have used on other vehicles with good results. Rotors alone would cost more than my 4 rotors and EBC pads. My pads per pair ran about $75 rear and maybe $110 front.

I used EBC Front Brake Pad Set Greenstuff 7000 front, 6000 rear. Very happy with the results now 3-4 months later. No squeal, definitely better braking than my OEM setup, which is probably mostly attributable to the pads.

For me, doing the work myself, the difference in $480 complete to my door vs. $600-700+ (USD) is pretty significant, about enough to pay for another set of rotors or pads.

Nice rotors no doubt, but IMHO Powerslot are more than "good enough" used with high quality pads.

I was going to suggest EBC Greenstuff 7000s for the front and Greenstuff 6000 for the rear. Also the EBC slotted and drilled rotors. This combo is great, according to what I've heard. This will be a soon set up on my truck

The Greenstuff pads front are working out really well, very happy with the choice a month later now. I did end up with the 7000's up front and 6000's rear. Good combo. They don't have that hand-of-God stopping power I have seen with my other cars but they work great and very consistently. Not too grabby and no real fade I can tell.

Later this week when I have time, I'm putting EBC rotors with Redstuff pads on my '04 Infiniti G Coupe's Brembo brakes, all 4 corners. Again a super deal compared to a lot of options but expecting good performance from the Redstuff pads with the 4-pot Brembos. Ironically much Brembo 4-pots are easier brakes to work on than OEM Dodge RAM brakes, too.

The OEM rotors were not as good as the full kit should come with, expecting good things with the EBC pads and rotors. Brembos still work great at stopping 3400 lbs of car with 300+ hp, but rotor and pad life was short and anything approaching 13" rotors are $$$.
