Default HVAC Problems

So I'm just trying to trouble shoot the problem and find out what i actually need to replace. Im thinking its the A/C Controller.

Anyways the first issue that came up was that the blower motor would never shut off, the speeds all worked fine but whenever i would turn the controller to off it would just slow the blower down a little bit more but would continue running. Other then that the vents would switch just fine and everything would work.

The 2nd issue that came up was now it won't switch between vents at all it only stays on the dash, different fan speeds still work, and it still wont shut off.

Any advice is much appreciated thanks!!

Okay, bought a new A/C controller. The only problem that im still having is that the blower motor will still not shut off completely. What was odd was when I had it completely disconnected i turned the truck on, the blower motor was completely off.

Help is much much appreciated thanks!

There is a resistor for the blower motor that sits inside next to the blower. Maybe its bad. I'm not sure I could totally be wrong, but might be worth checking out. I believe its pretty easy to get out.

Bad ground or short in plug. Sounds like the plus is at least it works.

I'm wondering if it's between the blower motor resistor and the actual blower motor, I'm going to look at it again tomorrow. Maybe it will be an easy fix!
