Default PLEASE HEELP?!?! 92 D250, 5.9 Cummins Fuseable Link(s)

Hi everyone, I'm a noob here, so I hope I am doing this right, but i'm having some major issues with my truck and need some help. A couple of days ago when I started my truck, I had no power to either window, or heat/ac. After a little research I discovered that there was no power at the fuse block, the orange wire (fuseable link), that powers the block for the windows, heater ect. Another person on this site said they had just ran a new wire from the battery to the fuse block and everything was fine. I did the same yesterday, only to discover that I now have no exterior lighting with the exception of the headlight and brights, flashers and signals do still work, no dash lights and no constant power to my stereo. My next guess would be fuseable links, but I don't know where any are located. Any info, suggestions and/or advice would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!! About a week and half ago, I couldn't get my truck to start, and as I was trying to diagnose it, a friend of mine who was helping me tried to get it to start by touching both positive points on the starter. I've heard of this working on an old Chevy, but not on something like my truck. I don't know if the problems I am having now are related to this at all, but it's the only thing that I can think of that has been done to the truck that was "out of the ordinary". Thank you very much in advance for reading and your time!!

fusible links are on the drivers side fender. the orange fusible link attached to the pink wire is the one that should power the power windows. now i think the fusible link that powers the headlights is grey connected to a red wire with white stripe.

touching both points on the starter should get it to turn over. i have done this many times with my 81 but i could just disconnect the solenoid wire from my starter relay and touch it to the positive terminal at the battery which is easier than going under the truck and trying.
