Man... So many products...
On eShine.ca there are 10 Duragloss products... and that's just Duragloss... How the heck do you choose?
Anyone want to be a pal... And go to www.eShine.ca
and cut and paste the links to what I should get for a great shine, water sheeting and paint protection? I am leery of claying... I am not doing a show truck here...
But I would like something that would last a while (I have a bad back, so waxing every week or even every month would be painful... :/ )
I have a brand new black truck, with bright bumpers. I have a 10" orbital polisher that I can use.
Would anyone suggest something like a permashine type thing?
Actually come to think of it, when I bought the truck three weeks ago, the sales guy said that they were putting paint protection on... On my sales sheet, it's plan "MS7 Rust/Undercoat/Paint"... That wouldn't be a permashine type deal, would it?
So, Collinite 845 seems to be the go to wax...? Can this be applied outside (I don't have a garage) in under 5c weather (after heating it up in water, of course.)
So I went to eShine.ca just to investigate... This is what I've added to my cart. Comments on pricing, choices or things I should get that I missed? I am going to stop into CrappyTire and see if any of this is carried by them (I doubt it) and compare pricing... Is there somewhere else I should look to buy this stuff?
845 for the paint
476 for my rims (and the brushes)
Glass cleaner for inside (couldn't find the suggested stuff for outside)
Aerospace for my vinyl tonneau cover
And one final question... My old Santa Fe had headlights that the lenses were horrible... I had bought a restore kit, but never got around to using it. How can I protect my new truck's headlight lenses from having the same thing happen?
