Default Diablo Tuner

Well its been awhile since the diablo tuner came out...really havent read much on how people felt about the tuner. I was just curious if anyone would chime in how they felt about the tuning whether it be dyno, or butt dyno before i went and spent a chunk of change on it.

Thanks,
Dustin

Given the published increases in HP and torque there isn't enough to get a seat of the pants feel. Likely why we are not hearing much about tuners.

I would like to see how many cubic feet per minute the engine can flow (stock Hemi), flow increases with after market exhaust systems, fuel injector maximum flow, along with current flows, and cylinder compression. Now we can get an idea of how far the engine can be pushed.

I'm thinking the engine as shipped is likely near maximum and that is why the after market tuners aren't delivering much.

Thoughts?

Plenty of info here. I have one on my '12 model. It's not only the hp and tq gains that register for your butt dyno. It's throttle sensitivity, shift pattern changes and torque management where you will FEEL this at. It brings out the 300+/- hp at the wheels, instead of the 200 it feels like with stock tuning.

Talked to our Trinity T-1000 dealer today and he said that it has not been a good mover as it stalls @ about the 99% mark of the install because a person needs the on board computer unlocked to allow updates and had not heard of any dealerships allowing that yet. He did say that if I didn't need my vehicle for a couple of weeks they would remove the ECU and send it to Diablo along with the tuner to marry them of sorts. No way I will be without transportation that long with no guarantee that all will be well when it gets back let along what the costs may be. Anyone else heard of this nonsense
