Default Removing front lower air dam

Has anyone done this? If so any pics of how it looks like? That thing is like a damn snow plow. I parked the other day next to an old 1st gen and it's sad to see how low the front of these trucks are getting...

Plenty of people have removed them including me but I do have a 3rd gen. Does your truck have a steel bumper?

I removed mine. Only thing is from the side the bottom of the bumper is now like 3" higher than the rest of the body line. Back before my truck was lifted I would scrape that thing off everything.

I ended up removing mine. It looks a whole lot better without it, however I can see how the bolts slightly sticking out from beneath the bumper might bother someone. I'm thinking of following what some other member did and trimming off the very edge of the air dam and reinstalling it to cover the bolts.
