You guys haven't seen this ad? It's all over TV in Canada. I think it's for the v6 but the 1/8" inch writing can be hard to read. It shows a truck driving to lethbridge Alberta on the highway as the road splits due to an earthquake or something.

I was thinking I spend 600$ a month at 12mpg on fuel. If I get 36mpg that's 400$ savings. Essentially a brand new truck without affecting my budget.

But obviously that claim is bull shit.

These commercials and on the sticker on the windows always say up to 36 just look for the fine print. I guess 12 miles to the gallon would be up to 35. None of these hemi's will ever get 35 miles to the gallon.

Imperial gallons.... folks.

36 I_MPG = 30 US_MPG

Still, very very misleading.

So I'm not the only one that saw it and recognized Lethbridge! My wife's from Taber and thought I was crazy until I made her watch it a few times.

False advertizing is all around us. Nobody has the money or legal resources to pursue any legal actions.

My 2013 RAM 5.7 Hemi only has 3500 miles on it. At 65 MPH on the highway I'm lucky to get 17 MPG so far, and I'm a very light-footed driver.
My dad had a hyundai and received a letter in the mail just shortly before he passed away saying, we're very sorry, but the mileage rating we gave on the window sticker was overestimated.

please accept this 500.00 visa gift card, and this gift card for the difference in gas mileage estimate based on the mileage on your car, oh, and take this 0.30 cent per litre discount card for the next 1000 litres of fuel you purchase.

Not out of the goodness of their heart i might add, but because of the result of a class action lawsuit. nevertheless, nice to get a rebate on the overestimated gas mileage!

Even with all the shebang, I don't see it getting 36MPG

When they use MPG figures in Canada, it is using Imperial gallons. Very misleading when compared to the US gallon, which is what most people are thinking they are referring to.
