Default Considering Headers...ARH, SW, Vararam

So I've been looking around at headers for my 2012 Ram Crew Cab 4X4. ARH has been around for awhile and I can get them through Moes Performance with cats for approx. $1550 but would like them coated. Any idea what it would cost to have that done locally? I also have already done Magnaflow Y pipe, will it be a big deal to get the headers connected up to aftermarket y pipe?

Stainless works headers have just come out and they are offering a group buy and with 1 3/4" primaries (their initial offering was only 1 7/8"). I think 1 3/4" would be better for my truck. My current mods are Moe's 87mm TB, S&B CAI, catch can, Corsa Catback, and magnaflow y pipe. The price on the SW headers "coated" with the group buy is about the same price as the ARH headers uncoated or mill finish.

Lastly Vararam is coming out with headers. Haven't seen much in the way of dyno graphs from SW or Vararam headers. Just looking to get some opinions on what header to go with. I'm certainly in no major rush to buy, but the group buy price for SW is pretty good discount. thanks!

I really love my ARH's. The fitment was great. If you already have a new Y pipe you can get the ARH by themselves for under a grand and just have them connected to the aftermarket Y, that's what I did. But you may want to ask if they can add some extensions because I needed them for my front two o2 sensors but the rear was able to stretch. Also do you plan on running cat less or not? Good luck on your choice it seems you cant go wrong

I'm very pleased with my ARH's. They definitely compliment the other accessories i've implemented. The mid rang & top end power is very noticeable although don't expect any increase in MPG's. Still nice power gains, & a second to non growl that will definitely get you noticed, make them IMO the only way to go

Everyone seems to love ARH but has anyone had any experience with the stainless works? What about install on either? I put headers on my old 04 F150 and loved the change in sound but if install is similar on the 4th gen Rams I'll save up for someone to do it for me. Total PITA

Someone just needs to convince OBX to make a set for the later model trucks. They make them for Rams 04-06 I think. They are a great price as well. I would pay $600 for a nice set of long tubes, once it gets over a grand it is hard take.
