Default bushing removal

I have just bought a set of new upper and lower control arms. I also have bought a new set of poly bushings too. and one got tips on how to remove the upper control arm bushings? I see the bolt bar in the arms and was wondering how to go about removing the bushings with out messing the arm up.

You could buy a bushing removal kit, but if it were me I would lok for a local shop with a big assed hydraulic press and have them remove the old and install the new bushing for me.

I have a press. I'm just trying to find out how to press them out from around the bar.

Default Burn the OEM Rubber out thusly

A common technique is to literally burn out the OEM rubber bushings. The metal parts (bushings, pins, sleeves etc) will not be damaged but may discolor. Just repaint them and grease the bolt threads.
Post up some photos of the parts, and we'll help with the press procedure.

In this photo (the smoke is TOXIC) we took a stout piece of aluminum and put a little puddle of lighter fluid to the c-arm contraption and melted/burned away the OEM rubber.
