Winter gas is less an issue than summer gas, in the winter 87 tune, 87 Octane no issue, since the air is more dense you will have less possibility of pinging, in the summer always a good thing to go 89 on 87 tune, just that extra protection from possible pinging. JMO

I have noticed with the 87 tune I eat more gas, for the driving I did I normally don't go through that much gas.

That's a good point Asur, I always run 89 and have never had any pinging on the 87 tune Winter or Summer.

I can almost guarantee that you are hammering on it more now which will burn through the fuel. Give it some time, if you drive it the same way the mileage should actually be better with the tune.

You are correct I was punching it at times alot to see if I feel/notice anything.

I'm going print out the manual tomorrow at work (use companies paper lol) so I can read up on how to put exhaust info in and what not.
