I just installed mine last week and had NO fitment issues. As far as sealing off to the hood I had 2 pieces of insulation rubber foam used on a/c units. Cut and trimmed them out to fit in the places that weren't sealing and used spray fabric adhesive to attach it. Seals perfect now all the way around the intake gasket. I'm very pleased with the performance gains, MPG gains and of course the looks.

Same here mine worked great besides having to trim for AC lines. The only thing I could propose would to loose up hose on the TB raise it up a little and close the hood slowly so it could create a better seal.
As you can tell by the pic I need to find better resolution to close the hole up.
