Default Smittybilt nerf bars

Anyone out there have the 3" tube smittybilt nerf steps? I'm looking to get some black wheel to wheel and want some opinions on them. The quality of them and durability. Any and all input appreciated, thanks!

I am running the Smittybuilt Nerf Bars on mine... they are ok for what they are... decorative steps. i plan on taking them off to put sliders on instead.

Are they poor quality or do you just not prefer the step nerf bars anymore?

My nfab steps are being delivered today. From what I hear they should be the same bars. I am hoping to install them this weekend. If I manage to get them installed soon I will definitely post a review for you and I'll snap some install pics too if that is helpful. Mine are the 2 step wheel to wheel setup.

That would be great! Pics are good and let me know what you think, I looked into the Nfab ones but seemed a lil to pricey for what they are and the smitty's were a lil cheaper

Ok so I got my Nfabs installed. Overall I am happy with how they are setup and the quality of the steps. Nice solid construction, welds look good, grip area is good, finish seems durable. (I went with the black powder coat) They are pretty solid mounted on the truck and easily support my weight, I am about 200 lbs. The mounting brackets lined up perfectly and bolted right onto the body. Install was fairly simple, though I recommend maybe having someone give you a hand. I did it by myself and had to wrestle with holding the wheel to wheel bar up while trying to get the bolts started. Nothing serious though. The only issue I had with these bars is the clips they provided with the kit were not long enough to fit one of the bolt holes on the mounting area in front of the rear wheels, one clip was long enough and one was not. A little disappointing however did not effect the strength, one bolt holds just fine. If you are looking at the cab length then that shouldn't matter. Other than that I was very pleased with these steps. My review will be ongoing to see how the powder coat finish holds up. Let me know what you think!

Sorry still trying to get a hang of posting pictures and everything on here. Also, I forgot to mention one other disappointing note about these steps is that they do not come with end caps. Even though they are curved away from the direction debris would come in I would still prefer them to be covered. Hope this post helps.
