It was a $200 option on my Express in Canada. Had I known, I probably wouldn't have bothered with them. Doesn't matter in the end, because I am going to go with aftermarket wheels and tires eventually, or if I get lucky, a set of R/T 22's.

I knew they were plastic chrome because my wife's journey has them. My longhorn has painted aluminum with gold inserts

I was quite surprised/dismayed to find out they're plastic when I washed the first time. Wonder how they'll hold up? Anyone know if it's safe to use wheel cleaner on it? Don't know if I'll ever need to but wondering just in case.

I also didn't know they were plastic.and now they are starting to pit. Going to take to dealer in hopes they will replace them.

I have to be honest I didn't notice on my 2010 the whole time I had them. They looked nice I thought. I wouldn't get them now because I am not into the chrome at all anymore. And if they last longer than real ones than I'm all for it.

i my self did not realize they were plastic until after I signed, i think i was just in hurry. It is disappointing that they have done this but if they can stand up to normal wear and tear and still look good I think I will be ok with them.

I like the fact that they are easier to clean, but mine have begun to separate from the actual wheel and some are cracking/chipping.

I wouldn't say they are junk! Personally, I think they look good and seem to be fairly durable! I used soap and water and they come clean quick and easy. Sure, I'd like to have some fancy one piece wheels but I can't really find a fault with the clads! Big rigs have been using chrome ABS plastic wheel covers and nut covers for years now!
