I might just try it and see how it sounds and if it comes down to it I can always swap out the muffler and still have a nice set of stainless pipes w/o resonators...

Are the tailpipes actually 3" or is that a typo on autoanything's website?

I know the tips are 4.5" but it says the new pipes are 3" which would make it the same as the head pipe...and everyone else's catback comes with 2.5" pipes

Ahhh, mis-understood.

I honestly cant recall, without looking but Im fairly positive its 3" into the muffler, then 3" into the Y Pipe, 2.5" out

Okay that's what I thought..they must have a typo cause I can't see the need for 3" tail pipes unless maybe it was built and boosted...

I'm going to order it and give it a shot and if it's not the right sound it shouldn't be too hard to swap the muffler out and just make a new piece to connect it before the muffler and just reuse from the y pipe back

Definitely wouldnt be hard to swap out just the muffler. Actually quite easy, 2 clamps.
