They said going with Zone would save around $600-$700 and they have had very good results with Zone lifts. Any thoughts or opinions between the 2 lifts would be appreciated. Also I noticed both companies say "not recommended on AWD models", does this mean I shouldn't use 4wd Auto setting or do most ignore this warning??
I am running the zone 6" in my truck.
I have no issues with quality. Keep in mind, most of the parts in a lift are just chunks of metal anyways. IMHO, as long as it fits as advertised, it's a good lift.
As for the new tie rod ends, I have no input on lifespan as it hasn't been installed very long. The new rear shocks could use an upgrade.
The dealer I bought mine from explained to me that the biggest difference that reflects the price between BDS and Zone, is that the BDS lifts come powder coated, and the Zone comes with paint/clear. Along with a few other things.
I too also have auto fwd, and don't have any issues. It's probably just a warning about drivetrain vibration., but I don't experience it myself.
