Default Adding oem sway bar to Express

Ive been thinkin about adding a sway bar to my lowered express because i still get a sway from time to time at high speeds around 70+, its not bad but i would like it to be gone.

So has anyone added a oem sway bar to an express? I seen a couple on ebay from salvage yards for around 70 shipped..im going to try locally also. But id like some feedbacm to see if its worth it. These came off crew cabs so theyll be a little stronger vs reg cabs or so ive read.

Thanks a bunch!!

I added a stock R/T swaybar to my express...I did it at the same time I put on my Belltech 2/4 drop kit though, so I can't tell you how much it helped alone since handling was completely different from stock with the kit. I found it on craigslist for $35...

after ready some on another forum of someone adding the thicker oem sway bar from a crew/quad cab to their express im sold. im just looking to eliminate the high speed wobble on dips and it did just that.

lucky for me i found a salvage yard an hr away that stock chrysler only vehicles and they had one in stock for 35 bucks. i doesnt come with the axle bushings or mounts but its a hell of a lot cheaper than a hellwig or belltech sway bar. ill be picking it up on the 9th since they are holding it for me and ill leave some feedback after i install it.

Hemi HFE is on a distinguished road
Default

I'm interested in your results !

my '13 HFE apparently is similarly lacking a rear sway bar,
so I am on the lookout to add one (along with a 2/4 drop).

Can anyone confirm whether a '09-'12 rear sway bar will bolt up to a '13-'14 ?

While looking under a RAM truck solely to inspect the suspension, I grabbed the rear sway bar and YANKED on it. It's a little coat hanger. Weak, soft bushings, flimsy etc
GOOGLE around, or review that youtube video for a proper aftermarket sway bar. Get some good polyurethane bushings.
