... It has to be noted the it was not "just" the fog lights that were changed on the '13+, the lower valance, bumper and grille were also changed. The new fogs look better with these changes...

I agree. Widening the grill at the bottom and changing the bumper make the truck look more aggressive.

well thats true..could be the weather...every one i looked at before getting my 2010 (only 2 years old most of them) all had the same rust blistering above the rear wheels...i thought i read it was attributed to the 3rd gens loosing the inner fender liner.

they made them vertical for better light spread, increasing visibility in front of the truck.

Besides HID conversions, are there more fog specific bulbs out there that would enhance them in driving snow and fog? Or is an HID the way to go for that? Do you look for a 3000K bulb?

Thanks

I think in the end that is the way to go - retro new projectors and HIDs in the HL's but then cater to the 'fog' specificity of the valance lighting and HID fog retro those as well.

That to me seems the ultimate upgrade to our lighting.

I prefer the look of my '12 fogs but, the projector headlights and rear LED's on the newer models look great!!!
