Default Aftermarket rack and pinion?

Is there such thing as a heavier built rack and pinion setup instead of the lemon setup they have in our 4th gens? /pretty much every generation ram.

Pretty much every seal in mine is blown, leaking from both boots and high pressure line intake. It really frustrates me how I have to put yet just another weak setup in. Nevermind hearing from the dealer that it's 900$ and none available in North America for over a month. Hmmm I don't think so. I looked online and found Rack and pinions for 200$.

Any vendors on the site have any suggestions?

Thanks

I don't believe there are any aftermarket rack and pinions for the 1500. You could get a shop to custom fit a 2500 2wd rack and pinion into yours. I think they might be the same part number but built w heavy duty parts. I know the 3rd gen was like this. You'll have to compare part numbers between the 4th gen 2500 2WD and your 1500 4wd. This is provided that the 4th gen 2500 2wd is still independent front suspension like the 1500 4wd.
