I got my cluster from LKQ online, and have a guy local that is adjusting the miles to match my existing or i will be sitting on my new cluster for years waiting for the miles to match up. I swapped to a Laramie Leather wheel with the evic and radio controls and all went smooth with the exception of the radio controls that is, havent pushed that part to hard yet.

Sorry zippo973 I cannot pm yet not enough posts better get off my but and do some write ups.
Here is your answer... To your pm.

I wish I did, I am still working on this one. My EVIC speedo is shelved while I look for someone. Or my truck mileage catches up with it. Sorry I don't have an answer, I am looking into a guy in PA who says he can do it but I have not committed to it yet kinda spendy.

Well keep in touch, I would like to find a local if available. I am currently trying to upgrade my 2011 with new leather wheel with buttons and EVIC which I had install earlier. I installed the wheel did the upper wiring then cut the clock-spring wires and ran the ground and connected the upper wires from the EVIC but now I'm stuck with no horn and the buttons aren't working. So even though I followed the posting from the other forum I'm still stumped. I emailed a couple of guys that did the upgrade successfully to see if I missed some little detail like maybe splicing into the ground instead of just cutting it but they haven't responded yet.

Not sure on the 2011 but on my 2012 I just put in the leather wheel with all the buttons you could ever need, I used the steering wheels wiring harness from the 2012 Laramie donor complete with the heated wheel option, (the heated part is just coiled up inside as the clock spring has no provision for it) and all worked from the start, my stereo even says the uconnect is not installed which it's not yet.

I assume you tried it out before cutting and splicing the wires at clock spring?

Default heated steering wheel

Do you mean I could add a heated steering wheel to my 2012bighorn?

Contadino, I think you would have to change out the clock spring and add other stuff to have the heated wheel work, mine is just going along for the ride. I like the leather wheel much better than the original one, it would be cool or hot if it did actually warm however but no biggie to me.
