Thought I'd update an old thread
My 09 served me Well and I rolled up 160,000 kms (or 100,000 miles for you folks in the US)
before trading it in on my new baby a 2013 QQ 4x4 Sport
As you can see from the pic I kept my OE forged rims for the 13 and they have held up UNBELIEVABLY thru 4 Canadian winters
The Subaru wagon was parted out and sold a couple years ago after setting a few more records
I ran a all time best of 9.74@142 mph at Armdrop live in front of thousands
I held the record for fastest Street driven full interior Subaru in Canada for four years and set a world record with the 9 sec pass for fastest Subaru on a STOCK ECU
Was a lot of fun but in the end it was just a daily driver gone wrong lmao
330,000 street driven kms , countless race events at variety of venues.
I raced the car in auto x , time attack, road course, oval track, drag tracks
In its final tune the car was running 33 psi using 128 leaded octane fuel
I had sold a 68 Charger and a Dakota years ago to buy the suby new when they came out so it was only fitting it get replaced with. Another Charger
this time a 69
I've been working on the mechanicals with my father for the past 3 yrs , lots of upgrades to make the car bullet proof and FAST
And finally my fathers Plymouth is going stronger than ever
and currently getting a heart transplant that will put the hurt to any and all takers at the track
A muscle motors 572 short block with indy 440-1 heads fully cnc'd , expecting about 900hp from it.....
And that "old" lmao 496cu in that's coming out of the belvedere is going in the charger....
Going to be a GREAT summer if it ever comes......
