GM for me.
I've only owned a couple Fords and I didn't have any luck with either one.
I've had several GM, and they've been pretty good. The best of which I still own (1993 Chevy 2500 2wd RCLB with a 454).

Take this from someone who works at a shop that services all makes and models. You don't want a Ford truck.

I did my due Diligence in testing out the Ford, Chevy, and Toyota for that matter, the Toyota seemed like an empty shell for way more money with worse fuel economy and no frills on the interior, the Chevy had the most power (I would have only gotten the 6.2 not the 5.3) but like others have said the interior in the crew cab was horrible and seeing as I have 2 kids in Car seats that was out, so the truck that was in the running with my Dodge was the F150 with that Eco boost as that one also had the 6.5' box as an option on the F150 and someday I want to trade my travel trailer into a 5th wheel and/or fit my wheeler in the bed and the Ford Crew has the most interior room, but in order to match the Big Horn interior (with LCD screen and heated everything) I would have had to get a lariat and that was over $6-7K more than Dodge plus I HATE Leather.... BUT to answer the question Chevy or Ford, would 100% be the Ford F150 Eco with Tow max package, PS my Mom's maiden name is Ford so that side of the family really hates me as this is my 2nd RAM in 10 years, LOL...

Alright, alright...... If you have to ask this question then I guess my final answer would be Neither. Too overpriced.

Agreed. The ram is the best bang for the buck. From the express to the Laramie.

An express is cheaper than the competion v6 bare bones model and a Laramie sells for about what a mid-level Chevy or ford goes for.

Ford has a fold out step as an option for the F150...it even has a hand rail that snaps into place so you don't slip and fall on your face!

Since I have no forhand knowledge of any brand of truck but Ram, I'd have to go on looks alone... Which would make me choose Chevy over Ford... But if all brands were available, I'd probably go with Nissan Titan...

BUT only if Ram weren't available.

I do really like that feature. I have terrible knees so getting into the bed of any truck is a PITA. I wish the Ram had this. But not a cool enough feature to buy the Ford.
