Default Sub enclosure

Any of you guys on here install a sub enclosure under the rear seat? I have a 12" in the back that I want to tuck out of the way. I have seen a few enclosures online but not sure which fit well.

Thanks

Recommendations for an underseat enclosure are the NetAudio or Fox Acoustics boxes. Both are good boxes.

I would stay away from the eBay boxes and go with net audio of fox. You could even go with the jl audio stealth box

Having gone the stealth box in my last truck, they are a good box, but seriously overpriced compared to a built box and sub bought separately, but then again, I was able to run a 13W3 in the center console with the stealth box.

I have a 2012 QC and got a custom fiberglass box built under the seat for 2 12" JLW6V2s. They sound OK, but are extremely stifled in that small space. If you're going to put anything back there, stick to 10s and go with slim subs.

I came from a 15" kicker comp in a truck before I bought my truck, and I'm very disappointed in how these subs turned out under the seat. In order to get the volume I want out of subs, I'm considering a blowthrough.

Bottom line is it's doable, but don't expect massive bass.

@ LT, that was my fear really, the airspace. Thats why I was researching boxes. To get the proper volume i had to fold the single seat up and put a sound ordnance box on the floor. I hate losing that extra seat but I dont want to waste money on a box that wont give me results. I just set it up so it is easy to remove the box unplug and store the cables if i need the room. I may move to 10's in the future but the 12 sounds amazing for now.

Sundown Audio makes a 8" and a 10" shallow subwoofer SD-2 Series that only needs 4 3/4" depth.

I was looking at the 8" to put under the passenger rear seat and make a custom box.
