Default Wheel Adapter length to clear the studs

What is the smallest wheel adapter I can get to clear the studs so I dont have to shave them?

Thanks
Steven

Hope Gingy36 doesn't mind me stealing his pic here. These are BORA 1.5'' wheel adapters. As you can see, the stock studs still stick out a little and he had to shave them. I would safely say the 2'' adapters would work without modification to the stock studs. The 1.75" would be really close and you might still have to shave a thread or two off. Don't know for certain though. This is on the rear of his truck. 2012 model.

Not in all cases but alot of wheels have an opening on the face of the wheel hub where the studs can sit w/o cutting them. Obviously depends on the wheel your opting to use......
here is an example (ignore the text in the pic):

Man, 2" would push the wheels I want to far out.. Damn, I need to look at the back of the rims and see if I have those holes.

Thanks for the pic. That is great.

Anytime....you would really have to work between the possible offsets available and the width of the adapters. In cases with adapters your most likely going to add 1.0" or more so you can always opt to add fender flares to cover the adapter width (to an extent). Then adjust the offset according to where you want your wheels to sit in relation to the fender.
Tell me what your trying to do and let me see if I can figure out a combination. Wheel diameter/width/offset/where you want the wheels to sit/tire size....
