Default Bilstein 5100 Ride Height Adjustable shocks

Has any body tried the Bilstein 5100 Series - Ride Height Adjustable Shocks on a Power Wagon ? I don't want a lift kit, jacking the truck up isn't an option for where I go with my truck , but I need another inch of lift on my front end to clear 37's, these shocks look like the way to go for the 2500's but, I can't find any info on if they work or not on a PW

They won't work on a 2500, completely different suspension setup than a 1500. You need to to look at leveling kits or small lift kits. A Carli 3" pintop system would probably work well for you but they're super pricey.

yah, a lift kit isn't going to work for me , I don't want the truck any taller than it is now, it's already too top heavy for the terrain I wheel in , I can't count the times I've almost rolled it already

I'd say try to find a 1" leveling kit if that's what you need to clear the 37's. Then you could always add Bilstein shocks for improved ride quality if you wanted.

I wasn`t looking for permanent lift ,and the PW's come from the factory with Bilstein shocks , but, I race the truck in mud drags and was just looking for an adjustable lift to clear my 37"Krawlers on the weekends and put it back to stock height when I put the 36".s back on

Air bags are what you need. There are a few companies that make air suspension kits, but they are pricey.

have you looked into building your own air bag kit? it's not hard to do. if your only gonna use it when your doin the mud drag racing you wont need to build a compressor into the system just an air tank. if your good with welding and custom fab work you could do it very easily.

If I do any mods too noticeable' I'll have to change classes, If I did that I'd have to add another 300hp to compete, snowball effect !!!
