Ok so check these small but silly differences out. Ram 2012 1500
Ram front rotor diameter: 336mm
Ram rear rotor diameter: 352mm
Now all be it minimal 16mm difference to be exact the front rotors are smaller in size than the rear. W.T.F. The front brakes account for 60+ % of the braking done on the vehicle. Kinda silly they run a smaller rotor on the end w/ all the stopping going on rather than the rear that does less. Now for comparison freaks like my self check out the dimensions on my new 2014 Cherokee.
Cherokee front rotor diameter: 350mm
Cherokee rear rotor diameter: 330mm
My cherokee is 4,044lbs/ Ram weighs 5,654lbs
The Ram outweighs the jeep by 1,610lbs thats crazy & considering the jeep is lighter that thing has some of the best brakes I've ever stopped w/...
In my humble opinion you have a vehicle weighing as much as the Ram does & it should definitely have bigger brakes all around but especially in the front.
