Default Tires and rims

Just traded my 07 sport for a new 2013 sport and I love it! Just wanted to know if anybody tried painting those polished aluminum rims? I saw some pics of them blacked out and it looks pretty bad ass! Also if anyone has pics of some different wheels on those rims too, something a little more aggressive

Most people who paint them use plasti dip. It holds up pretty well and if you don't like it, it is easy to remove. A lot of people have put bigger, more aggressive tires on those rims. Take a look at the lift and leveled section the are a ton of pics. You can fit up to a 35 inch tire with a simple level.

I was at a powder coating place yesterday to see if I could get my 2013 sport wheels powder coated black and he said that he's done tons of aluminum wheels. Planning on getting mine done before spring. If I remember, I'll post some pictures.

Good to hear, if my chrome cladding ever goes down hill (I'll have this truck a long time) then I was thinking about decladding them and having them powder coated. I'm pretty sure I saw another member that had done it to his Laramie wheels.

If that's the case I'd probably just get new wheels. No discount for doing all 4 at the same time, or is that where the $135 price comes from?
