Default ARH Headers on a DD

Had anyone put ARH headers on their Daily Driver? Have you noticed any difference in how hard or easy the truck is to drive? Did they hurt mileage?

We were talking about this at work today and a couple of the old guys are saying not to put them on my '10 that is use as a DD.

I live up here in the great white north and it was mentioned the motor doesnt get nearly as hot so the heater wont put out enough heat.

I have never had a vehicles with heads so I am kind of taking these muscle car guys serious.

Would it effect my '10 1500 like they are saying if I did ARH headers?

They are great for a DD. They help increase the overall tone and performance of your truck. My truck was a little sluggish at first but after a custom tune she was running greater than ever. It didn't hurt my MPG maybe a small increase. Only advice I would give is to get the full kit. I ordered just the headers and I had to buy extensions for the front O2's.

Get them! I love the headers on my DD!

I don't even know what they mean by they wont produce enough heat. That doesn't even make sense...

Many member here and customers of ours have them on their DD and love them, the only thing that I can think of by them stating that they do not produce enough heat would be if you ran the headers w/o cats that it would throw a 02 sensor code, sometimes the hi flow cat systems will as well, however this is remedied by either turning off the rear o2 sensor via a custom tune with either a Diablo Sport Intune or trinity t1000, you can also put non fowler o2 sensors in with the hi flow cats and that would solve the problem more often then not as well.
