Default 2012 1500 outdoorsman sub/amp question

Just bought a 2012 with only 4500 miles!! Want to add sub/amp but keep factory head unit. I see a hole in the storage compartment under the pass rear seat, can anyone tell me if dodge runs the sub wires even if there never was a sub? I want to tap the power wire and hopefully hook up to the speaker wire. Thanks in advance!

I doubt it. If you don't have the OE Alpine amp, I doubt you'll have wires. The OE sub isn't worth it anyway.

No they don't run any power wire, i do believe there will be some speaker wire under the carpet though, my truck has it! But there is a really neat connector on ebay to tap into the factory harness behind the radio for rcas! So it will be all plug and play for an aftermarket amp and sub!

Will not work for factory amplified vehicles, factory amp will have to be removed. You may want to read reviews for these devices.
