Default Anyone live in Phoenix?

Just wanted to see what Phoenix is like, and yes I know HOT! My wife is interviewing there for a job and we might move if she get's it. So what's it like, I grew up outside of Chicago and currently live in Dallas...

An open question, I could say it is nice but not sure that is all that helpful. So what do you want to know about Phoenix? You mentioned it is hot which is true, 3-4 months of the year when temps are consistently 100 plus and with many days at 110 plus. June through September are typically the worse because it is the monsoon season which while it brings much needed rain also raises the humidity, coupled with 100 plus temps makes it uncomfortable. The rest of the year is usually chamber of commerce weather as the humidity is low and while hot, is really quite comfortable. This week we have had temps in mid to upper 70's. Winter months can see over night and early morning hour temps as low as 30's but typically low 40's with mid day temps in a range of mid 50's to upper 70's. I grew up on the east coast and lived in the midwest for 10 years prior to moving to Phoenix and I quite enjoy not having brutal cold, snow and ice 6 months of the year. Arizona has a lot to offer, great diversity including weather and there is plenty to do for all interests.

Thanks, I appreciate it, if all goes well, I should be out there in less than a month! Any advice on where to live? My wife will be working downtown, and I don't want a real long comute for her around 20mins max...
