TRMAT79- Thanks for this write up! I have actually been considering this mod since before I bought my truck since I love everything about the truck but hate the random hole in the dash! (wouldn't be so quite bad it they didn't have the depression molded into the dash to allow access to a latch that isn't there!) Anyways, I have just been putting it of, figuring I would just have to live with it since I assumed that the whole dash (including the upper cover) would have to come apart to replace the section. Now reading this, I know it doesn't and the upper glovebox is on my list of soon to come mods! (I actually joined here just so that I could see the pics in your write up, a buddy of mine sent me the link since he and I had been talking about this ever since I noticed that his truck does have the door) Thanks!!!

Did this upgrade today. You do need patience lining the door up but other than that it was a piece of cake. Really finishes off the interior.

Thanks to trmat79 for the write up.

Default Just did mine...

Thanks trmat79 for the write up. I also thought it would involve taking apart the dash, but your outline showed how quick it was. When I think of it, it's sort of expensive for just a stupid glove box, but that damn cubby was useless. I hated leaving anything in it because it's messy looking and everything slid around. Took me barely a half hour because I didn't have Uconnect to mess around with.

Just finished installing my upper glovebox and it looks great however it took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to line up the door screw holes, I kept thinking I had to partially close the door hinge to get it to line up...NOT!!!
