Default What is this hose hanging down?

I was following my wife up the driveway and noticed a hose hanging down in the rear. When she got in the garage I took a closer look and it looks like it's connected to the rear differential, but I don't know where it is supposed to go. It's too dark and cold to go out there and monkey around with it. Does anybody have a clue? Maybe just a breather hose? No lights are on in dash and everything looks good there.

Thanks in advance.

Ya , it's just the breather tube for the diff. I wouldn't leave it hanging there, maybe just zip tie it up till you can find the proper placement.
