Hey all. I had this EXACT same problem (luckily while it was still under warranty). Same symptoms as you all describe. Finicky, especially when the cab of the truck is hot from being in the sun. Rarely acted up when it was in the hands of the dealer. They replaced the motor, but that didn't change anything. When they replaced the switch in the overhead console, it's worked perfect ever since. I watched them change the motor, and that was a hell of a job. Didn't see them do the overhead switch, but it was done quick, so I'd definitely start with that end of the circuit. Faster, cheaper and proven in my case to be the fix.

Good luck!

I did have this happen to me only once a couple of years back, window would not close. Never had anything changed and to this day the problem has never repeated.

I agree with Balki, I have since noticed mine on does this in the summer when it has been out sitting in the sun.

I have found all the same problems with mine, On hot days, it opens fine and then either, doesn't close or it takes a few tries to do it. I also had my button push in. but I was able to reseat it using twine. I came on this forum to see if anybody has any problems. I am an electrican and the next really hot day and it starts happening I am going to start checking the motor and go back from there. I will keep you up to date.
