This is exactly what I've been looking for! Something I can add lights to, that I don't have to remove my tow hooks to use. And I've been considering one of those sport plows that you attach to a hitch for future winters. And I can mount lights on it. Win Win Win. Now they just need to release it and I just got to buy one!

Default Tow hooks back on 2013 ram 1500 with front hitch

It took a while - too long but my fabricator friend finally got around to modifying my tow hooks that had to be removed for a front receiver hitch to be put on.
we had to cut off a bit from the side and weld in a cross brace then after grinding the side off the washer/rubber bushing a bit they bolted right back in place.
There was an issue finding the right length and pitch of metric thread bolt for this as the nut is welded into the frame from the factory so it was a challenge. Had to order them in to the local industrial supply store.
Hope these photo's show enough story as I have trouble figuring out how to load up these so they are bigger

OK they won't load - I'll try in another post window

Default Tow hooks back on 2013 ram 1500 with front hitch

Now they will work:

Note: the washer/rubber bushing needed a bit of grinding to fit it in correctly however the truck looks so much better with the factory hooks back in their place. Easier to snap a line on for a quick tug too than crawling under to use the loops supplied on the hitch.

I started out with the same idea you had (put it on a mount like that). I decided to go a different route. Check it out. I have to finish the fairlead today. I went with the Hawse steel from Warn. Should give a nice clean finish.
