Exclamation Gear Ratio?

Hello I have a 2005 ram 1500 with the 4.7, shortbox. I love the truck and use it for home remod buissness. When i bought it used it was appearently someones toy cause it has the 22inch rims among other things. While it looks cool i think it is really messing up the gear ratio. At high way speeds 65-75 it just doesn't "hang on" it wants to downshift whenever i go up slight hill.(I live in Kansas)It feels like the last gear is way to high. Could this be resolved by getting the regular 17 inch rims or maybe by getting a hypertach to program for everything.

Rim size won't matter. Tire diameter and circumference is what makes that difference.

That's roughly the equilivent of a 34 inch tire and it's like switching to a numerically lower gear ratio.

What tire and rim would you suggest to make the truck most effecient (power/fuel). Also i haul a trailer max load 2800 once a week.
