Hi,

I have also a Lonestar edition.

One question, where is the difference between the Texas modell to the other modell?

I talked to a salesman the other night and he said Lonestar is a package that includes fog lights and under hood light, but wasn't sure what else. I know my old SLT was not a Lonestar and did not have these features (until I added them) so he's partially right I guess. I'm assuming the BigHorn edition is the same as the Lonestar edition, only spelled differently.

I saw a new Lonestar Edition pulling out of the dealership, way out here in San Diego California, brand new proud owner behind the wheel, so its not just a regional edition

my SLT quad cab may be a strange beast in itself, with the
26L customer preferred package 26L
2TLA customer preferred package 2TL
ADAP light group
AGGP sport group
Sport Premium Group

no one seems to know anything about the SPORT Group & Package, is it a SPORT or an SLT, or is it a SPORT SLT, or an SLT SPORT

Texas marketing. First thing I would do it rip off the gawdy badges. But hey, that is just me.

I have a 2005 Lonstar Laramie 1500 C/C 4x4. It is pretty much loaded including leather and power everything; except heated seats (which would be nice considering it get -40 *C/*F), Rear sliding window, and sunroof.

Lone Star edition (for the fourth Gens) are the same as big horns, but there are/were a few options(in 2012 there was a katzkin leather option) available on the Lone Star edition that weren't available on the Big Horn. On the Older Gen's of the Ram Trucks the Lone Star edition seemed to be a package(as opposed to a separate model) as I have seen options on the older Lone Star rams vary.

A Lone Star is the same as a Bighorn but the Lone Star is available in Texas and has better looking badges. Its technically an SLT with a "Lone Star regional package". Its basically a loaded SLT and comes with a few options like dual exhaust that you can't get as an option on an SLT.
