Default P0441

I have a 2007 4.7L Flex Fuel 1500 Quad Cab. I keep getting a P0441 code I have changed everything associated with the evap. system except for the leak detection valve and the charcoal canister. The only issue I am having is the truck dies when I come to a stop after I get a fill up but never does it again until I fill up again. My question is do I need to change the canister with the leak detection vale or just the LDV valve

Have you crawled under there and looked at it? I've had 2 rams and 1 Dakota throw that old code and each one was just the little hose that connects to the canister gets cracked and leaks. You just trim that inch or so off and re install the hose. It's worth a look anyway.

Also gas cap nice and tight? It'll throw that in a second for a loose or worn gas cap.

Did you check your gas cap gasket seal? They tend to dry out and cause similar problems.

Try better gas from different stations. Maybe you're purge solenoid needs to be replaced. Unhook it and drive the truck see if there is a difference. Also run some sea foam through your vacuum lines could be all crudded up.
