I was so glad to come upon this thread. I had the exact same problem with my truck. Funny cause 2 weeks ago I had a problem with the truck and has a code that directed me to the #7 cylinder. I changed the coil on 7 and was back in action. But just the other day the truck died and was almost impossible to start and when it did it ran fine untill you gave it any large acceleration it would stall and die. After replacing the igniton coil, both cam and crank sensors, TPI and IAC, I was scratching my head. It never occured to me that the new coil could have gone bad, but after reading this thread, went straight to my truck and disconnected #7 coil and bingo, started right up. Needless to say i ran out and replaced it and I'm one happy camper thanks to this thread....
I am so thankful i came upon this post. I replace the coil at that time. So It never occured to me that the new coil could be the culprit till I read
this post. Needless to say, I went straight out to the truck and disconnected the new coil and bingo truck started right up like normal. I replaced it and I am one happy camper today. Thanks to this post
