qq for msorbara10, why did you remove the old headliner and foam underneath? I'm planning on doing this soon but was thinking of spraying the glue over the existing headliner then putting the new black fabric over top of it. In theory it would work right? also make the cab quieter by dampening noise because another layer of fabric. I doubt it would be very noticeable but still. Just wondering before I go ahead with this. The ebay fabric also, was it around 50$? I found black headliner fabric in the size you said you used for around that price, just curious.
Thank

I would rip the old headliner off. The reason for that is because you still have to put in all of the old trim and some of it will be a struggle to fit back correctly as well as making it look like it was always there.

Just rip the old headliner off and get a wire brush and keep scraping it off. It does take a while and is kinda annoying but it will just come out a lot better and will also hold up a lot longer.

If you do choose just to spray it then I would put a lot of glue on it. But putting it on top of the existing headliner may make it loom too thick and can even be hard to make it look even.

And go on eBay and type on black foam headliner and you will find what you need.

Good luck let me know how it goes

I honestly havent had any problems so far. It really looks like its been there since the truck came off the line. I only had the truck for a couple years but I cant remember it being the old tan interior. Cheap mod that really looks nice
