Default How To Piss Your Wife Off Without Trying or Daytona 500

Settled down yesterday to watch the Daytona 500, just in time for the rain delay at I believe about 35 laps. Within the 1/2 hour they switched to last year's race, coming in at about the same lap. As they did not show the cautions times during the race it was actually quite enjoyable.

Fast Forward to 9:00 PM for the continuation of the days race, when the wife said that she was not exactly impressed, she kept insisting I was watching the same race and accusing me of doing this on purpose to piss her off. I was unable to convince her the earlier race was the re-run.

It reminded of the time when shortly after we obtained our first VCR, I taping a movie she was watching and she subsequently fell asleep. When she woke up all the clocks had been rolled back and I played the program from where she had fallen asleep. She lost two hours that day.

hahaha that's funny.

i was at the bar watching it, half paying attention and when they switched to last years race (which I didn't get to watch) I was thoroughly confused for about 10 minutes until the banner at the bottom said "you are watching last years coverage".

the whole bar was pretty much lost. similar lap, similar racers out front. pretty funny.

I started watching the race at its start, then the rain delay, so i just laid down. Woke up to last years race & saw them bump drafting & thinking there was going to be major penalties, then the ribbon banner showed up & i changed channels.
I missed about 40 laps when they started back up.
I decided to watch the rest in my garage & popped a top
before long friends started showing up & we watched the rest of the race.
Out here the race ended at about 8:15 PM & i switched channels to watch the first episode of this years Amazing Race. Wednesday the new Survivor starts

TV is good again
all those shows where they play with their balls is over

That's a great trick to play! My wife was a little miffed that I hogged the TV all evening too. She asked how long is this blankety blank blank race anyway. And so I had to explain to her about the rain delay and that they run under the lights, etc. I gotta remember that time change thing though. That could come in handy.

I never watch nascar, but I watched about 50 laps before falling asleep. Then watched some youtube videos of wrecks tonight. Can Danica Patrick not avoid wrecking or what???

Well I am quite sure that if she was walking alongside an interstate with a two piece there would be some big wrecks happening.

Um...... YUP!!!!!!

Another funny thing about the 2013 replay during the rain delay:

A bunch of "too involved with their handheld devices" morons actually started to congratulate Jimmy Johnson for "winning" the 2014 Race.

Uh, set the iPhone down for a second or two every hour and experience reality there, people.
