Default Rear diff swap

Has anybody else tested this with good results to back it up. I have a 2012 express 4x4 and hate my open diff. There are just so few options out there. I will say this theory sounds great if it will work. The great plus is great upgrade potential.

i have a 2011 ram 1500 with ( previous ZF internal on the rear and chrysler 8.25 on the front ) and i switch all the internal from a 2010 ram , lsd carrier and both axle to have the 4.56 gear, you can do the same for the rear but on the front in 2012 model , you have to swap all the internal too because they soldered the front ring gear on the carrier so no possible gear swap on the front, or just buy a used 2009-2011 front diff and swap the gear and pinion

Aftermarket support is terrible and the support you do have is expensive. May find yourself in another truck sooner than later like this guy!
Why would you need or want a LS/locker in the front?
Only needed for serious/hardcore 4 wheeling. Kind of out of the scope for light weight CAD axles

I kinda had my mind set on a LS for the front of my truck but after reading this thread, I guess I can save my money and use it for something else.

My 2011 has the 3.55's open diff want to go to 4.10's LSD
Can I just use a LSD Carrier and gears from Chrysler?
Anyone know the part numbers or have experience with this swap?
I also read somewhere in this forum that the 2011 axils have reluctor rings for
the speed sensors where the older 2010 and back versions did not, is this true?

on 2011 ram i think the speed sensor is in the transmission not in the differential, 2010 and older have the ring on the carrier

Moe's Performance has a Mopar LSD & Mopar 4.10 R&P listed for the 2011 & Up "ZF" axle.
What do you guys think? A direct swap? They want almost a grand for the pair.
