Default Low speed vibration

Hi everyone, i apologize ahead of time if this is a repeat question, I did a search and wasn't finding an answer...

I just bought a used 2009 that has some fatter tires (325) on it and it's got a pretty bad shake that comes up between 20-30 mph. It goes away after that, but it was really noticeable today. I have a due bill from the dealership so they are going to fix it, not matter what it is, but I want to be prepared when I go in so if they tell me one thing that fixes it for a day and it's actually something larger I'll know if they're pulling my leg.

It doesn't do it at high speeds at all, drives like a dream (well.. given all the snow we have, it's as good as can be). the steering wheel shakes REALLY bad though at those lower speeds, turning left and right rapidly on it's own.

They tried to tell me they think it's the tires out of balance because they are larger tires, ok, hopefully its that's simple.. any insight? Thanks.

It sounds like tires to me.
Are you going to let them pick the new tires? You did say they were going to fix it no matter what is wrong?

I just put new tires on my truck and they were almost $300 each. I would do some price shopping if i were you.

Mechanical they will fix, if it's just a tire out of round that's on me... I priced out the tires and know what I'm getting into ahead of time ($300-400 each).

I was considering changing out the rims and tires anyway, so that's why I didn't mind that much if that's the problems. And honestly, I hope that's the problem because I'll happily take a tire versus finding out it needs a whole new front end, even if they'll fix it, I'd rather it not be something major.
