Maybe in your area. The only thing removed from the cars when My Dad and I had 'em was the radio, antenna, and computers.
The "interceptor" package from Ford was the dual exhaust, heavy duty steel wheels, added cooling for oil, power steering, engine, and tranny, dual exhaust, and heavy duty brakes. The dual exhaust was good for a few additional ponies, and you could check the P71 code at the Ford dealer if you wanted one new.
