Default 99 Ram won't start after rain stroms? Help Please!

Every time it rains, the truck won't start, no wiring is broken or any visible signs of electrical wiring issues. Could it be the ECM or BCM on the passenger side firewall having condensation issues? Or has anyone had similar issues and found a solution? Anything help would be appreciated!!!

Look under the hood at night when it's dark. You might see arcing. Spray a little water and look again. I'm thinking wires. Back when we drove clunkers, we'd spray kerosene on the wires and distributor cap when it was wet, it would start right up. At night, bad wires will light up like a Christmas tree

Hey Toddr111,
Dont know if you have got the issue fixed yet. Like Hydrex says wires and also I would recommend check the distributor cap for cracks.
Let us know what it was
Good Luck

I am having the same problem, at night I saw no spark jumping. Had a yellow spark from the coil(not blue) smell of fuel is strong and truck will crank but not even try to start until you release the key and it will hit for a couple of seconds-acts like it is flooded

This happened to me once. Back in 96, when my 95 had 7k on it. Got home on a dry night, rained overnight. Wouldn't start the next morning. Still under warranty. Had towed to the stealership. Cracked-cap they said. Replaced, never another issue. Just my experience.
