Driving our jeep with the 3.6L for about 5k miles I am pretty impressed. It's the first v6 (that I've driven) that actually seems like it has enough power to be in a full size truck. Not a tow monster but for light duty use I wouldn't mind it at all. The jeep hauls too, and the videos I've seen of it in the ram it seems to move out just fine. Not everyone wants or needs a drag truck or the ability to tow 7500 lb.

I want to get a drop in dry flow air filter for the jeep, what are you guys using in the ram? We were thinking about a muffler too but not sure it really goes along with the jeep...

Any chance you could take a video of it running and post it up? There are a lot of people on here that would be really interested in how that sounds.

^1 what he said. Notice anything performance wise out of it, or just more noise?

If you were closer I'd say we should meet up and I'd take the problem off your hands. The exhaust, not the wife. why $600 to fix? Have you thought about trying to get a muffler from one of the hemi trucks, might get rid of the drone and keep the wife happy. And would be a hell of a lot cheaper.

I think he means it cost him $600 to do what he did and doesn't have any money to get it changed to something a little more quiet.

I'm not messing with the engine at all; I like it just fine as it is (except for the fluids specified). Might fool with some aero mods, getting rid of the whip antenna, back up camera, that sort of thing.
