Since I found this out AFTER I installed my HEMI decal, I'm going to pass it along so maybe someone won't have to buy a second decal. There IS a front and a rear on the vararam lid. The rounder end is the front and the flatter or more square end is the back. Now you'll have to go outside and check YOURS!

I see one pic where the stock box was kept in place minus the air tube. Thinking this brings cool air into engine bay and not a bad thing.

I have a friend who has painting skills. I gave him an idea and he took it from there.
The Candy Apple Red will not pop for my camera the way it does in the sun. He used heat resistant auto paint and lots of gloss.
I really like the "checked flag" accents on the sides.
Now he has my spare cover and wants to give ghost flames a try.

What do you think?

I think he's an outstanding artist with automotive paint! I'll be interested to see the ghost flames.

For me… the Vararam filter cover is the perfect size to add some personality to your engine compartment. The large flat, dead center, surface is too nice to leave alone.

I have always loved the Mopar Bee insignia. I like em all….. The Rumble Bee, The Scat Pack Bee, and the older Super Bee.
As I mentioned in the earlier post- my friend took a few liberties and created the "bee doing donuts" lid. Then he was going to do some ghost flames but did not like how they came out so he stripped it away and blended a different bee with the dodge hash stripes.
The pictures do not do it justice.

old and new

Thanks Vararam!
