Default New Coil Springs

Hello, I had the front coil springs replaced a month ago and I just went over a speed bump and hear and felt a clunking sound on the passenger side. it sounds like the spring isn't seated correctly. Does the spring have some kind of holder that attaches to it and holds it in place? Can I do this myself with a spring compression tool? Thanks Mike

Hah, you post on a Sunday, don't get an immediate response and it is the forums fault. Chill dude, this IS a helpful site, people just have better things to do on their weekends.

To answer your question, yes the springs have a certain way they must be "clocked" to seat properly.

BTW, your quick response dismissing the site is not the best way to ask for help.

To be honest, this is one of the worst forums I have ever joined. There are so many sub-sections that no one knows where in hell to post. I have asked questions and never received an answer. Out of pure courtesy, one member bumped one of my threads that was dormant and asked if anyone answered me yet. In that time of NOT receiving any answer, I removed my leveling kit and went a whole different route with an entirely different lift setup. This forum is very little help with anything......unless you want to slam your truck and drive around like a yo yo yo.
