Awesome write up! I noticed most of the foam on mine is just about gone. Good thing I keep my wallet in my left pocket...

Great write-up.

Mine's shot too. I'm gonna try this in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully I don't screw anything up.

Yep, checked mine out today. Left rear portion of the drivers seat is starting to crumble and sag. Will be doing this in the near future. Thanks for the write-up.

Thanks for the very informative write up, I have an 06 Laramie with seat issues and this will help a great deal. The previous owner was pretty hard on it and I'll start this project soon. My leather bottom also started peeling from neglect so I'm in search of a replacement cover as well but haven't found a supplier online, can anyone provide an online site for the stock leather covers? Short of providing the stealership with the reggy no. and buying one from them, it will be require signing over my first born

ok i have a 07 power wagon and the foam in the very middle of the seat is soft as hell but the sides are still hard like they are new and they press on the sides of my legs and it hurts after sitting in the seat for 10 minutes. anyone else have this issue?

Great fix. Already did this to mine much better. I will probably redo again later this year except I'll be going with the foam used for sofas. Seems like the Hobby Lobby Poly foam isn't going to last though for the mean time the seat looks a lot better.
