Default How do you remove OEM bed rails?

Does anyone have any experience removing their OEM bed rails. I would like to take mine off temporarily.

Thanks!

There are "pinch tabs" on the under side of the top of the bed. Do so carefully and they will lift off. If in doubt go to parts and ask to see one so you know what they look like under the bed rail.

On my truck, it looks like the bed rails might be taped down with 3M. It is hard to tell, either way, I tried to find the way for a while and could not figure it out. Either way, I think I solved my problem without removing them so I do not need to do this anymore, for now.

they are pretty much one time install only, most if not all of the tabs will break off.

the side rails are almost impossible to remove without breaking some of the plastic tabs

my tailgate cap is the same way
